SECTION 1 – GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS

  •  Application of Tariff – This tariff governs the statewide operation of passenger
    transportation services provided by SAFEX TRANSPORTATION within New Mexico. All
    rates, charges, rules, and regulations apply unless otherwise authorized by the NMDOT.
  •  Liability – Carrier assumes responsibility for passengers only while boarding, riding, and
    disembarking. Carrier is not liable for any damage, loss of money, jewelry, documents,
    or fragile articles unless declared and accepted in writing.
  •  Service Area – Carrier is authorized to operate statewide within New Mexico, includingall municipalities and rural areas.
  •  Conduct of Passengers – Passengers engaging in disorderly conduct may be refused
    service. Alcohol and illegal substances are prohibited inside company vehicles.
  • Cancellations – A minimum of 2 hours’ notice is required for cancellation without penalty. Failure to cancel may result in a cancellation fee equal to the full/Half or minimum fare. Also, upfront payment or related details required against lastminute/movement ride reservations to avoid passenger no show up and other operational issues.
  •  Insurance – Carrier maintains all insurance coverage required under New Mexico lawand NMDOT regulation

SECTION 2 – RATES & FEES SCHEDULE OF RATES & CHARGES

  •  Base Passenger Fare:
    • Initial Pickup Charge (Flag Drop): $3.50 Applied at the beginning of every trip.
    • Standard Mileage Rate $3.75 per mile or $1.88 per ½ mile (For Maximum 2
    Passengers)
    • Late Night Mileage Rate: $4.50 per mile Applies from 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM or $2.75 per
    ½ mile (For Maximum 2 Passengers)
  •  Minimum Fare (Any trip): $25.00
  •  Additional Passenger Fee (From 3rd Passenger onwards): $5.00 per person
  •  Wait Time / Flight, Traffic Delays:
  •  First 15 minutes: Free & thereafter $35.00 per hour Charged, when vehicle is stopped or
    traveling under 12 mph. $0.60 per minute.
  •  Pet Fee: $15.00 per Pet and does not apply to service Dog/animals.
  •  Deep Cleaning Fee $175.00 For excessive mess, spills, or bio-hazards.
  •  Airport parking & Special Facility Surcharge:
    • Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ): $2.50 per trip
    • Santa Fe Regional Airport: $2.00 per trip
  •  Baggage Policy:
    • 2 standard suitcases: Free
    • Each additional bag: $1.50
    • Oversized/Large Equipment: $5.00 each

SECTION 3 – TERMS OF SERVICE

  •  All fares are calculated based on the shortest safe driving distance as determined by
    GPS routing and subject to change caused by market inflation.
  •  Flat fare rates will be offered and applicable only based on Passenger’s request or
    demand, as a special case per agreed by both the parties.
  •  Payment: Payment in full is required upon completion of the service by any mode
    such as Cash, debit, credit cards or online payment apps etc.
  •  Driver must provide a printed, manual or electronic receipt upon request.
  •  Right to Refuse Service: The carrier reserves the right to refuse service to any
    person who is threatening, inappropriate, poses a potential threat to safety or
    property. Carrier complies with ADA requirements and will provide accessible
    transportation upon request.
  •  Minors & Child Seats: Transport of unaccompanied minors under 18 is refused
    without written parental permission accepting liability. The carrier does not provide
    child restraint seats; parents/guardians must provide federally approved car seats.
  •  Prohibited Items & Conduct: The use of drugs, alcohol, or tobacco is strictly
    prohibited. Weapons of any kind are not allowed in the passenger compartment.
  •  Vehicle Damage: Any damages to the vehicle caused by a client will result in a
    charge to the client for the full cost of repair.
  •  Wet Items: Wet clothes or any wet items that may damage the vehicle’s interior are
    not permitted
  •  Luggage & Property: The carrier is not responsible for loss or damage to luggage or
    other personal property. The carrier may refuse to transport any item believed to
    contain illegal materials, be unsafe, or be impractical to load.
  •  Pets & Service Animals: All pets must be properly restrained and are subject to a
    fee. Service animals complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are
    always welcome at no extra charge and do not require a carrier bag.
  •  Delays & Interruptions: The carrier is not responsible for delays or interruptions
    caused by weather, road conditions, accidents, breakdowns, construction, law
    enforcement activity, or other events beyond its control. Arrival and departure times
    are not guaranteed. Service may be suspended if conditions are deemed impractical
    or dangerous.

SECTION 4 – SCHEDULES & AVAILABILITY

  •  Operating Hours: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays.
  •  Service Response Time: Typically, within 20–45 minutes in urban areas; longer in rural
    service zones.
  •  Reservation System: Advanced booking available via phone. Online booking will be
    made available in future updates.
